Triathlon: BTA Carifta Selection Trial Results
The Bermuda Triathlon Association recently hosted a Carifta Selection Trial event at Clearwater Beach.
Naomi MacGuinness won the 11-12 female race clocking a time of 21:15, Iris Duda was second in 21:53, and Elena Bortoli was third in 22:39.
The 11-12 boys race was won by Spencer Haldeman who clocked 20:34, Jacob Leclerc was second in 21:34, and Walker Smith finished third with a time of 22:08.
Sophia Leclerc won the 13-15 girls event crossing the line in a time of 40:02, Maddy Schindel was second in 40:31, while Isla Cooze finished third clocking 42:32.
Sanchez Smith clocked a time of 34:25 on his way to winning the 13-15 boys race, Luca Bortoli was second in 35:05, and Jens Drea was third in 35:19.
Carina Bortoli won the 16-19 female race clocking 1:25:14, Jackson Langley was the winner of the 16-19 male division race clocking 1:05:17, and Jake Smith finished second in 1:13:10.
