Top Players, Coaches And Referees Awarded
The Bermuda Football Association’s [BFA] recent awards ceremony at the Earl Cameron Theatre at City Hall recognised the standout players, coaches, and teams across various categories for the season.
In the First Division, Chemarl Henry of Devonshire Colts clinched the Leading Goalscorer award and the Player of the Year accolade.
Chazz Knights of St David’s was named Goalkeeper of the Year, with Stefan Simons of Wolves securing the Defensive Player of the Year.
Christen Lugo-Elibox of St David’s claimed the Young Player of the Year award, and Torry Davis from Wolves was honoured as the Coach of the Year.
Boulevard Community Club was recognised for their sportsmanship with the Fair Play Team award.
In the Premier Division, Domico Coddington of Devonshire Cougars won the Player of the Year award.
Quinaceo Hunt of PHC Zebras and Jalen Harvey of North Village were awarded Goalkeeper of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year, respectively.
Daion Swan-DeSilva of Village was recognised as the Young Player of the Year, with Quincy Hunt of PHC earning the Coach of the Year award for their successful defence of the title.
North Village Community Club received the Fair Play Team award.
The Referee’s category honoured Clint Hayward as the Referee of the Year.
In the Women’s Division, Deshae Darrell of Lady Trojans emerged as the Leading Goalscorer, and Zakhari Turner, also from Lady Trojans, was named Goalkeeper of the Year.
Kalay Hollis of Lady Zebras won Defensive Player of the Year, with Jahde Simmons of Dandy Stars taking the Young Player of the Year honour.
Robert Bean, coach of Lady Zebras, was named Coach of the Year, and Taznae Fubler from Lady Zebras received the Player of the Year award.
For the younger talents, the Under-13 Girls category highlighted Malayah Curtis Adams of Lady Zebras as the Leading Goalscorer and Nalini Minors of Lady Warriors as Goalkeeper of the Year.
Riley Khan of Lady Zebras was named Player of the Year, with Natural Simmons of Lady Zebras securing the Defensive Player of the Year.
Taznae Fubler from Lady Zebras also earned the title of Coach of the Year.
Daley Outerbridge was the Referee of the Year.
The Under-13 boys’ category, Chaz Edmead of Village was the Top Goalscorer with Jeon Wolfe of FC Bascome winning the Player of the Year.
Other notable winners included Xavier Thomas-Bassett of FC Bas-come as Goalkeeper of the Year, and Kayuri Tucker of Dandy Town as Defensive Player of the Year.
Jonathan Eve of Dandy Town was named Coach of the Year.
The Referee of the Year was Sar Smith.
In the Under-15 category, Sinai Simons of Warwick Football Academy was the Top Goalscorer, Jahneel Maria of PHC, the Goalkeeper of the Year, and Sami Carollo of Warwick Football Academy, the MVP.
Keishon Smith of Warwick Football Academy was named Coach of the Year.
The Referee of the Year was Isaiah O’Brien.
In the Under-18 category, Yeshai Burgess of PHC was named MVP, Khy Bean of Somerset Trojans, the Goalkeeper of the Year, Jayden Belboda Raveneau of PHC, the Defensive Player of the Year, and Mosiais Mill of FC Bascome, the Top Goalscorer.
Roddy Lewis of PHC was named Coach of the Year, while Cecoy Robinson was the Referee of the Year.
