Winter League Teams And Players Honoured
The Bermuda Netball Association has celebrated the achievements of the Winter League teams and players at its recent annual prizegiving at the Docksider Pub and Restaurant.
Phoenix Netball were crowned champions in the senior division, with Tigers runners-up.
St George’s Cricket Club picked up the Fair Play Team, with Dockies Netball claiming the Team Spirit Award.
Danielle Raynor was the top goal scorer; Kianté Lightbourne was the top defender and league MVP; Akeyla Furbert was the top attacker; and Debré Evans was the players’ player.
Storm Sports Club were the under-17 league winners, with Phoenix Netball runners-up.
Rhianna Reddicks was the top goal scorer; Zipporah Grant was the top defender; Hailey Trott was the top attacker, and Sioma Rudo was the league MVP.
In the under-14 division, Storm Sports claimed the title, with Phoenix Netball finishing runners-up.
E’Rynn Paynter was the top goal scorer; Naomi Crofton was the top defender; Malaysia Furbert was the top attacker; and Kse Jennings was the league MVP.
Meanwhile, NPS Hot Steppers, Phoenix Netball, Storm Sports and Dandy Stars were also recognised in the under-11 division.
