Inline Ball Hockey: Sinky Bay & Devil’s Hole Win
A Bermuda inline ball hockey league double-header took place at the PCC Hockey Rink which produced 30 goals in the two matches.
Sinky Bay Sea Turtles 7 North Rock Beacons 6
In the opener, the Sinky Bay Sea Turtles edged the North Rock Beacons 7 – 6.
Tom Duggan led the Sinky Bay Sea Turtles to victory with 4 goals, while Mathieu Desjardins added two goals, and Seth Duerden added the other.
Chris Grantier scored four times for the North Rock Beacons, who also got single strikes from Ryan Wilson and Josh Wilson.
Smiths Storm 8 Devil’s Hole Diablos 9
A total of 17 goals were scored in the nightcap as the Devil’s Hole Diablos edged the Smith Storm 9 – 8.
The Devil’s Hole Diablos got hat-tricks from Shannon Gosse, Marcel Bouwens and Tom Miller, while the Smith Storms got four goals from Matthew Benson, three goals from Adam Mattatal, and a single strike from Kyle Oakley.
