Bermuda Win Two More CCCAN Swim Medals

Connor Hupman won the first medal of the day; capturing the bronze medal in the 13-14 men’s 200 LC meter freestyle A final touching the wall in a time of 2:00.23,

Logan Watson-Brown won the bronze medal competing in the women’s 18 & over 200 LC meter freestyle A final clocking a time of 2:05.15.

In the 11-12 men’s 50 LC meter backstroke B final Dominic Wright finished 4th clocking 34.28, Hupman would finish 4th in the 13-14 men’s 50 LC meter backstroke A final clocking 28.27, while Logan Jones finished 3rd in the B final touching the wall in a time of 30.21.

Elijah Daley finished 4th in the 15-17 men’s 50 LC meter backstroke A final with a time of 27.31, while Watson-Brown finished 4th in the women 18 & over 50 LC meter backstroke A final touching the wall in a time of 29.78, with Myeisha Sharrieff finished 7th in the same race clocking 30.32.

Brian Desmond won the men 18 & over 50 LC meter backstroke B final clocking a time of 28.50. Isabella Jones would finish 5th in the 13-14 women’s 200 LC meter breaststroke A final, while Sam Williamson finished 6th in the men 18 & over 200 LC meter breaststroke A final clocking 2:24.25.

Wright finished 4th again in the 11-12 men’s 200 LC meter freestyle B final with a time of 2:17.53, while Katherine Wheddon finished 2nd in the 13-14 women’s 200 LC meter freestyle B final with a time of 2:16.31.

Noah Maranzana finished 4th in the 13-14 men’s 200 LC meter freestyle B final clocking a time of 2:08.90, Marleigh Howes finished 2nd in the 15-17 women’s 200 LC meter freestyle with a time of 2:12.60, while Bella Howes finished 4th in the same race clocking 2:14.70.

During the preliminaries, Rory Shepard advanced to the 11-12 men’s 50 LC meter backstroke A final after clocking the sixth fastest qualifying time of 32.28, Dominic Wright finished 11th touching the wall in a time of 34.10.

With the 4th fastest 13-14 men’s 50 LC meter backstroke preliminary time of 28.67, Connor Hupman advanced to the A final, while Logan Jones finished 11th clocking 30.60.

Elanna Fulton finished 10th competing in the 15-17 women’s 50 LC meter backstroke clocking 33.98.

During the 15-17 men’s 50 LC meter backstroke, Elijah Daley clocked the 6th fastest preliminary time of 27.81 to advance to the A final.

Bermuda have two swimmers in the women 18 & over 50 LC meter backstroke A final, as Logan Watson Brown clocked the 4th fastest preliminary time of 29.87, while Myeisha Sharrieff clocked the 6th fastest time of 30.54.

Brian Desmond finished 9th in the men’s 18 & over 50 LC meter backstroke preliminaries with a time of 28.61.

Isabella Jones advanced to the 13-14 women’s 200 LC meter breaststroke A final with the 6th fastest preliminary time of 2:57.24.

Sam Williamson will compete in the men 18 & over 200 LC meter breaststroke A final after clocking the 7th fastest time of 2:27.41.

Dominic Wright finished 12th in the 11-12 men’s 200 LC meter freestyle preliminaries clocking a time of 2:19.86, while Rory Shepard finished 18th clocking 2:23.35.

Katherine Wheddon finished 10th in the 13-14 women’s 200 LC meter freestyle preliminaries clocking a time of 2:16.85.

Connor Hupman will feature in the 13-14 men’s 200 LC meter freestyle A final after clocking the 3rd fastest preliminary time of 2:01.21, while Noah Maranzana, finished 12th clocking 2:08.88.
