Lane Closure On North Shore Road In Flatts
The Ministry of Public Works advised “that North Shore Road’s eastbound lane in Flatts, Smith’s Parish, will be closed to one lane to facilitate the cleanout of the storm drains.”
A Government spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform the motoring public that North Shore Road’s eastbound lane in Flatts, Smith’s Parish, will be closed to one lane to facilitate the cleanout of the storm drains.
“Depending on weather conditions, this lane closure will commence on Thursday, 27 June 2024, or Friday, 28 June 2024. The work will be carried out between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
“Traffic control measures will be implemented under the direction of Ministry of Public Works representatives, utilising stop-and-go signs and cones to manage vehicle flow.
“Motorists are advised to use Middle Road as an alternative route to avoid this section on North Shore Road in Flatts Village.”
