The Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Sport Owen Darrell visited the Nspire Bermuda Racquets Extravaganza at the W.E.R. Joell Tennis Stadium, where over 200 primary school students participated in tennis and pickleball festivals.
The Government said, “Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport, Sen., the Hon., Owen K. Darrell, JP recently visited the two-day, Nspire Bermuda Racquets Extravaganza at the historic W.E.R. Joell Tennis Stadium. The tennis and pickleball festivals for all primary schools on the island were a smash hit with over 200 students confirmed to attend both days. The sports days wrapped on Wednesday, June 12th. We thank organisers Gavin Manders and his team for hosting a successful event that promotes a healthier lifestyle for our young people.”
