Actor Daren Herbert Nominated For Awards
Bermudian actor Daren A. Herbert has been nominated for two awards by the Toronto Alliance for the Performing Arts [TAPA] for the 44th Annual Dora Mavor Moore Awards.
Presented by the Romano D’Andrea Foundation, Canada’s largest and oldest awards programme recognises excellence in professional theatre, dance, and opera in Toronto for the 2023-24 season.
The ceremony will be held at the Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre Centre on June 24 and acknowledge the recipients of 43 award categories across seven divisions.
Mr Herbert has been nominated in the Theatre for Young Audiences Division for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in Sweeter, a Cahoots Theatre production.
He has also been nominated in the General Theatre Division for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in Three Sisters, a Soulpepper Theatre Company and Obsidian Theatre Company production.
