Trott And Dailey Win Island Fresh 5K Run
Sean Trott and Christine Dailey raced to victory in the Island Fresh 5K Food Run and Walk yesterday [June 23].
Trott won the race in 17min 16sec, finishing ahead of Shannon Lawrence in second [17:37] and Domico Watson in third in 18:03.
Dailey was the first female finisher, stopping the clock in 18:51. Maddie Durkin was second in 19:18 and Stepanka Sprincova placed third in 20:49.
In the competitive walk, Terrence Taylor won in 37:36, with Nancy Andrews-Sousa second in 37:59 and Michael Cenzer third in 41:49.
The Island Fresh 5K Food Run and Walk, organised by Hayley Evans, the owner of Island Fresh, a meal box delivery company, and her brother Liam, a Bermuda footballer, who runs Evans Performance Training, raises funds for the Eliza DoLittle Society [TEDS].
