Warwick & Pembroke Lane Closures Announced

The Ministry of Public Works issued two Road Traffic Notices for the motoring public regarding upcoming lane and road closures in Warwick and Pembroke Parishes.

As Government spokesperson said, “These closures are necessary to facilitate infrastructure work and community events.

Middle Road, Warwick Lane Closure for BELCO Trench Works

“The Ministry wishes to inform the motoring public that there will be a single-lane closure on the eastbound lane of Middle Road, east of Riddell’s Bay Road junction in Warwick Parish.

“This lane closure will facilitate BELCO trench works. The details are as follows:

  • Location: Middle Road, near Riddell’s Bay Road junction, Warwick Parish
  • Closure Dates: Monday, 1 July 2024 through Friday, 5 July 2024
  • Working Hours: 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

“BELCO representatives will control traffic using barricades, stop-and-go signs, and cones. Motorists are advised to drive carefully through this area to ensure their safety and the safety of the workers.

Mount Hill Road Closure for Community Day Block Party

‘The Ministry also announces a road closure in Pembroke Parish to accommodate a Community Day Block Party. The details are as follows:

  • Location: Mount Hill, from Swansbay Hill/Twin Lane Place to Overview Hill/Bluff Lane, Pembroke Parish
  • Closure Date: Saturday, 29 June 2024
  • Closure Hours: 12:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.

“Motorists wishing to access Mount Hill are advised to detour via Berkely Road or Langton Hill. Traffic controls will be managed by Community Day representatives. Motorists are encouraged to avoid the road closure on Mount Hill and use the alternative routes provided.

“The Ministry of Public Works thanks the public for their cooperation and understanding during these necessary closures.
