Art Drop To Host Art Showcase On July 26

Art Drop Bermuda announced a showcase on July 26, 2024, at The Hamilton Princess & Beach Club, featuring 12 Bermuda-based artists.

A spokesperson said, “You are Invited! This week Friday, Art Drop Bermuda invites you to a one night only art showcase featuring 12 Bermuda based professional and emerging artists.

“The Event:

Date: Friday, July 26th 2024
Venue: The Hamilton Princess & Beach Club on The Regency Terrace from 5:30-7:30pm
Cost: The event is free to the public
Inclement weather location: The Princess Ball Room Foyer

“A cash bar will be provided by The Hamilton Princess & Beach Club. Ask for the Art Drop Bermuda cocktail which will be designed to enjoy for the evening as you enjoy stunning art and beautiful views of Hamilton Harbour.

“The art featured in this showcase ranges from traditional to fluid, sculpture and etchings, modern pop art and modern impressionist styles, digital prints, fine art photography, and futuristic art with technology enhancements.

“Bermuda based artists need the support of the community. The majority of the featured artists are full time creators.

“If the art makes you stop to breathe slower or excites you and gets your heart pumping, if it makes you see something or feel something every time you revisit it, or simply, makes you smile. It is worth the investment because it enhances your life in some way which adds to its inherent and intrinsic value.

“Art Drop Bermuda’s debut event is featuring award winning, accomplished professional Bermuda based artists who have exhibited and sold work locally and internationally.

“New works will be on display along with work that deserves to be appreciated again. Art Drop Bermuda is introducing an amazing artist to Bermuda’s fine art scene.

“Natalie K. Sannemalm is an impressionist painter with a modern twist. Her work captures the beauty of dusk and dawn skylines around the Island one dot at a time. The perspective of her art highlights shades of Bermuda blues and scenic sunrises and sunsets. Those transient moments that take our breaths away. Her art does exactly that.

“The CEO of Art Drop Bermuda, Michaela Antoinette, a mystic artist and visionary is debuting a unique new sculpture piece called The Ripple Effect. It’s a layered mixed media piece. It is an optional illusion, enhanced with augmented reality and artificial intelligence technology. It also glows in the dark. Mixed media is adhered to a custom cut mirror using various techniques including setting fire to alcohol inks. The mirror is supported with a triangular mahogany wood base. Representative of the Bermuda triangle. This work is also accompanied by poetry.

“Toni Tone will be debuting vivid and bold figurative framed digital art prints that haven’t been previously publicly displayed.

“Nahshon Hollis has a piece of Bermuda’s history in his new oil painting he just finished of the Hamilton Harbour. It has the old Bank of Bermuda in the background from when he started the painting as a plien air piece. To own a Nahshon Hollis original is every fine art collectors dream.

“Shanna Hollis is in the process of creating a new display on plywood. Her work is always daring and her color choices visually captivating.

“Charles Harrop-Griffiths is debuting a couple golden pieces including Facade #002 another edition in his popular and sought after painting series.

“There are 40 works that will be on display and for sale. All equally engaging and of professional quality and standard. Art Drop Bermuda is proud to showcase such a talented and diverse group of Bermuda based professional emerging and established artists.
