Desmond Crockwell Jr. Joins BCB As Intern
Desmond Crockwell Jr. joined the Bermuda Cricket Board as an intern through the SkillCraft Youth Internship Program to gain experience in social media marketing.
In providing information about himself, Mr. Crockwell said, “I am 17 years old and recently graduated from Somersfield Academy on June 6th. I plan to attend Oxford Brookes University in the UK for Business and Marketing Management and play football for my university team.”
He also adds, “I joined the Bermuda Cricket Board as an intern through the SkillCraft Youth Internship Bermuda program, which educates young adults on the use of social media in business. I look forward to getting real-world social media marketing experience in the sports industry and educating Bermuda on the sport of cricket through social media.”
Calvin Blankendal, BCB Executive Director, said, “I am pleased to have Mr. Desmond Crockwell join the BCB through the SkillCraft Youth Internship Program. His focus on social media marketing will greatly assist the Bermuda Cricket Board.”
