Khano Smith’s Rhode Island Earn Point
Khano Smith’s Rhode Island FC scored a last-gasp equaliser to draw 3-3 at home to Indy Eleven in the USL Championship on Friday [June 5].
Rhode found themselves two goals down at the interval after Laurence Wootton and Elliott Collier gave the visiting side the lead.
Frank Nodarse scored for Rhode Island in the 52nd and 70th minutes to draw level before Tyler Gibson restored Indy’s lead in the 88th minute.
Isaac Angking ensured there would be a share of the spoils when he netted in the fourth minute of added time.
Smith, a former Bermuda and New England Revolution winger, was appointed as head coach and general manager of Rhode Island in March last year.
Rhode Island are at home to Miami FC on Saturday [July 13].
