Ball Hockey: Sinky Bay & Smiths Storm Win
A total of 19 goals were scored in a Bermuda inline ball hockey double header at the PCC Hockey Rink.
Sinky Bay Sea Turtles 7 North Rock Beacons 5
In the opener the Sinky Bay Sea Turtles defeated the North Rock Beacons 7 – 5.
The Sinky Bay Sea Turtles got four goals off the stick of Seth Duerden, while Max Boivin added two goals, and Mathieu Desjardins scored the other. The North Rock Beacons got a hat-trick from Chris Grantier, and Ryan Wilson found the net twice.
Smiths Storm 5 Devil’s Hole Diablos 2
The Smiths Storm defeated the Devil’s Hole Diablos 5 – 2 in the nightcap.
Shawn Mckee and Jake Fenske scored two goals each for the Smiths Storm, with Kris Abramowski added the other. The Devil’s Hole Diablos got two goals from Bruce Sinclair.
