Squash Team Continue Competing In Caribbean

Bermuda is among six countries that continued competing in the Caribbean Area Squash Association senior championships, at Georgetown Club and the National Racquet Center in Guyana.

In the men’s open division, Anaya Smith lost to the number one seed Khamal Cumberbatch from Barbados, 11-5, 11-5, 11-5.

Taylor Carrick went down to the number two seed Cameron Stafford from the British Virgin Islands 11-3, 11-3, 11-3.

In the men’s open consolation round, Brendon Fourie defeated Ethan Fortune from Trinidad and Tobago 13-11, 11-8, 12-10.

Matthew Elliot lost 11-6, 11-2, 11-1 to Seth Thong from Trinidad and Tobago.

In the women’s open consolation round, Abigail Brewer defeated Margit Daugela from the British Virgin Islands 11-8, 11-6, 11-4.
