Bermuda Golfers Begin Myrtle Beach World Am
A total of nine players from Bermuda began competing in the Myrtle Beach World Am.
Ann Symonds and Melinda Frith are playing in senior women [60 & above] division flight 57, Symonds came off the course T27th after a net round of 81, Frith is T42nd with a net round of 87.
In the senior women [60 & above] division flight 59, Ann Mitchell is T6th after a net round of 73, while Tracy Burgess is playing in the women’s gross division flight 54 she finished the first round as the leader after a round of 77 and she is leading by 5 strokes.
In the senior men’s [50-59] division flight 9, Richard Marriott is T18th after a net score of 77, while Antony Than is T40th after a round of 84.
Gary Venning and Frank Morgan are playing in the super senior men’s [70-79] division flight 47, Venning is T16th with a first round net score of 81, while Morgan is T43rd after his round of 92.
Frankie Furbert is competing in the mid senior men’s [60-69] division flight 31, he is T13th after the first round shooting 79.
