Bermuda Institute Postpones School Opening
Bermuda Institute has postponed the start of the new school year to Tuesday, August 20th due to following Hurricane Ernesto.
A spokesperson said, “Due to the impact of Hurricane Ernesto on our school community, it has been decided that Bermuda Institute will open for the new school year on Tuesday, August 20, 2024.
“This decision was made with the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and families in mind, as we address the necessary repairs and preparations following the storm.
“We appreciate your understanding and patience as we ensure that our school environment is safe and ready for your children.
“Thank you for your cooperation, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back on Tuesday, August 20th.”
