Bermuda U15 Girls Concacaf Team
Bermuda’s Under-15 Girls National Team triumphed 2-1 over Suriname in their opening match of the 2024 Concacaf Girls’ Under-15 Championship, with Evans Welch scoring both goals.
A spokesperson said, “On August 3rd, 2024, Bermuda’s Under-15 Girls National Team travelled to Trinidad and Tobago to participate in the 2024 Concacaf Girls’ Under-15 Championship. Bermuda is in Group F with the Dominican Republic, Cayman Islands, and Suriname.
“Here is the final team selected to participate in the 2024 Concacaf Girls’ Under-15 Championship.
- Goalkeepers: Nalini Minors, Semaj Baisden- Scott
- Defenders: Antoinette Barry, Azae Burrows, Dayasha Dill, R-Zanee’ Evans-Waldron, Zelaye’ Showers, Miyari Trott
- Midfielders: Amiya James, Avery Taylor, Cayli Dowling, Daley Outerbridge, Janiya Sealey, Nila Samuels
- Forwards: Evans Welch, Jada O’Brien, Milan Gibbons-Thomas, Tayte Glasgow
“The first match saw our Under-15 Lady Gombey Warriors secure three points against Suriname. The match result was 2-1, with Evans Welch scoring both of the goals for Bermuda. Our Under-15 Girls will face the Cayman Islands on August 6th, 2024 at 2:00pm and the Dominican Republic on August 8th, 2024 at 4:00pm. Match kickoff times are Atlantic/Bermuda time.
