Bermuda’s Paralympic Athletes Ranked In Top 4
Bermuda is expected to be quite competitive at the 2024 Paralympics as both the island’s athletes – Jessica Lewis and Yushae DeSilva-Andrade – are currently ranked in the top four in the world in their respective discipline.
Jessica Lewis, competing in her fourth Paralympics, is currently ranked 3rd in the world for the 100m, while Yushae DeSilva-Andrade is ranked 4th in the world in her boccia division. DeSilva-Andrade has started out strongly winning her first match today defeating her competitor from Poland by a score of 4-1.
