DHPC Elects New Committee For 2024-2025
The Driving Horse and Pony Club of Bermuda has elected a new committee for the 2024-2025 harness racing season, with races set to begin on September 29th, followed by the official season kickoff on October 5th.
A spokesperson said, “The Driving Horse and Pony Club of Bermuda [DHPC] recently held its 2024 AGM.
“DHPC members elected a new committee for its upcoming 2024 – 2025 harness racing season. The committee is as follows:
- President WJ Andy Stoneham
- Vice President Samantha Hayward
- Treasurer Ashley Peniston
- Secretary Amanda Martins
- Assistant Secretary Danielle Correia
- Committee Member Paul Martins
- Committee Member Colin Mello
- Committee Members Candyce Maiiins
- Committee Member Tahzii Flood
- Committee Member J ashaun Young
“The 2024 – 2025 harness racing season is set to begin with a fun day on Sunday 29th September [post time to be confirmed] with the first official race meet being Saturday 5th October, 6 pm post time.
“It is anticipated that 6 new ponies will make their debut this season at the NEC on Vesey Street and many track favourites will also be returning.
