Lane Closures On Harrington Sound & Middle Rd
“The Ministry of Public Works advised the motoring public of ongoing lane closures on Harrington Sound Road and Middle Road on Flatts Hill in Smith’s Parish.
A Government spokesperson said, “These lane closures, necessary for sequential milling and paving works, will continue through Friday, 23 August 2024.”
“Details of Road Works:
- Affected Area: Harrington Sound Road, both lanes from Manor House Bridge to Middle Road in Flatts.
- Duration: Ongoing through Friday, 23 August 2024.
- Working Hours: 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
“The Ministry will manage traffic control during these works, employing barricades, stop-and-go signs, and cones. Motorists are strongly advised to avoid this route if possible and use alternative detour routes via Knapton Hill and North Shore Road.
“Those who must travel through the affected area should anticipate delays and be urged to proceed cautiously. The Ministry appreciates the public’s understanding and cooperation as it works to improve the road conditions for all users.
