“During his talk, Mr. Barrett will explore the intriguing story of the Sea Venture shipwreck. His lecture will unveil the historical impact of this event on Bermuda and America, as well as exactly why 15 of the 150 survivors never left Bermuda.

While explaining the immense importance the Sea Venture in Bermuda’s history, he will also reveal how the lessons learned from settling Bermuda, ultimately saved the genesis of America itself.

“Born and raised in Bermuda, Mr. Barrett has served as the accountant for his Parish Council and many other not-for-profit organisations. This includes the St. George’s Foundation which strives to preserve Bermuda’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites through education and awareness.
