Ebbin Wins Sugar Bowl Open For Tulane
Christian Ebbin was back in action for Tulane University as the school hosted the Allstate Sugar Bowl Open, winning the regatta with 64 points.
Along with Tulane, the field included the College of Charleston, Florida State, Jacksonville, Rice, Stanford, Texas A&M, Cal-Berkeley, and Wisconsin.
Coming into the final day of racing, Ebbin and his crew Sabrina Anderson, sailing the school’s B boat, were in fifth place after eight races. They then sailed six races on day two to take the series to 14 races.
Ebbin and Anderson claimed two wins on the day; they also has a second and third place finish to win the regatta with 64 points overall.
Tulane finished third overall as the A boat finished with 115 points.
