Bermuda Sailors Shine At Weymouth Regatta
Bermudian sailors Adriana Penruddocke and Sebastian Kempe achieved notable results at the Weymouth & Portland National Sailing Academy Regatta, with Kempe securing a podium finish. The event featured six races for both the ILCA 6 and ILCA 7 fleets.
In the ILCA 7 fleet, Sebastian Kempe finished third out of 44 sailors. He accumulated a Net Points score of 24, with his results including two third-place finishes. Great Britain’s Finley Dickinson won the fleet with 11 Net Points.
Adriana Penruddocke competed in the ILCA 6 fleet, placing 18th among 83 competitors. Her Net Points score was 101. Penruddocke’s strongest performance was a second-place finish in the fifth race. The fleet was won by Eve McMahon of Ireland, who finished with 14 Net Points.
