    Reading the above oppinion .

I have come to the conclusion that there is a game of political chess going on here between our political leaders who appear to want more than they are able or prepared to give of them selves, this is where the current ecomomy down turn comes into question who is doing what where an how ?

Now it has fallen on our young people let usall blame covid.

Dare i say, once more we see a passing of the buck. This time the buck goes to rest on the shoulders of our school age young people who by the way have many learning chalenges, if that is and was just not enough.

Who is responsible for education? for some it is just a job !
    and

What type and quality of education have we or they come to expect?
Is it a pasing of the torch of common sense being far more rewarding than history lessons of sunken ships?

Failure i will qwith out question pass the buck to rest solely on that and no other than “the teacher “while other stand by with the expections of wanting more.

I know that game and who plays it !

We as you all have heard over and over again the termoil and economic failure which effect every one who by the way wonders if the have a job on Monday, look like somebody has work to do on that to assist those who have no had it so good .

i am sure our young peopl feel the pinch od a declive of home life in some instances becomes no longer condusive for our young people’s learning ability by keeping up to standard with out doubt to day being much more dificult.

They say 50 /70years ago threy used to cane the children for poor marks.
Fior our young people exoectation have grown harder and harder standards of expectancy required these days have increased to a state above our present generations ability.
Our children are not programable robots.
Education take many forms as standard accademic does not cover all .

Are they asking for a bunch of legal assistants or plunbers to do heart sergery ?

Pushing our young people with faise praises to a stage far beyond their power of their own limitations is very encouraging but not working or workable by beating the wrong donkey .

Have our leader found a new football to kick around by placing undue responsibility on our young to do better while our leader the sit in the stands and watch .

Education for many starts after have left school .

PAC MAN, I do not know about you, but I came to the realisation that my grandchildren will be paying interest on our accrued debt more than a decade ago, long before the COVID-19 pandemic.

Now my concern is that Bermuda’s debt will never be paid off and all of my descendants will have to pay for the folly of the last 20 years.
