Minors, Seymour & Thomas Earn Scholarships
The St. George’s Parish Council has awarded scholarships to Zyon Minors, Asia Seymour, and Shea-Lah Thomas.
A spokesperson said, “The St. George’s Parish Council is delighted to announce its 2024 Education Scholarship Recipients. Each person received a five-thousand dollar [$5000] award. We congratulate Ms. Zyon Minors [University of North Carolina], Ms. Asia Seymour [Southern New Hampshire University] and Ms. Shea-Lah Thomas [Lynn University].
“These three remarkable young ladies demonstrated not only their resilience, but a deep commitment to achievement and a passion for utilizing their ultimate careers to progress our country’s future initiatives in their particular area of study.
“As they embark upon their studies this year, the St. George’s Parish Council wishes them much success, as they pursue their dreams, explore different ideals and work to make a difference in their field of study.”
