Notice Of Publication Of Parliamentary Register

Notice is given that, in accordance with section 26A[1][b] of the Parliamentary Election Act 1978, copies of the parliamentary register [“the register”] for constituency 36 Sandys North are available from Tuesday, 3 September 2024 for inspection at the Parliamentary Registry, Craig Appin House 3rd floor, # 8 Wesley Street, Hamilton, the General Post Office in Hamilton and Mangrove Bay Post Office.

Objections to the registration of any person whose name is entered on the register must be delivered to the Parliamentary Registrar not later than seven days after the publication of the register. The grounds for such objections must be in writing and accompanied by a deposit of five dollars [$5].

Objections by a person that his name has been irregularly omitted from the register or that particulars relating to his name are incomplete or inaccurate must be delivered to the Parliamentary Registrar not later than seven days after the publication of the register. The grounds for such objections must be in writing and accompanied by a deposit of five dollars [$5].
