Solstice Earns OUTBermuda Icon Award
Solstice announced that it has been honoured with a distinguished award from OUTBermuda for its exceptional contributions to the LGBTQ+ community in Bermuda.
A spokesperson said, “Solstice, a leading mental wellness center dedicated to fostering inclusivity and providing comprehensive mental health services, is proud to announce that it has been honoured with a distinguished award from OUTBermuda for its exceptional contributions to the LGBTQ+ community in Bermuda. Solstice has won the 2024 Icon Award for Allyship in the Organization category, and Kelly Madeiros, Managing Director, was nominated for the Ally of the Year award in the individual category.

“This prestigious accolade recognizes Solstice’s commitment to enhancing the lives of LGBTQ+ individuals through innovative therapeutic programs, community engagement, and advocacy. In addition, with the financial commitment and support of OUTBermuda, anyone who identifies in the LGBTQ+ community can access mental health services at Solstice at no cost to themselves.
