Kamau Leverock Plays Second Greats Match
Bermudian cricketer Kamau Leverock played his second match for Gujarat Greats in the Legends League Cricket [LLC] against the Southern Super Stars at the Barkatullah Khan Stadium in Jodhpur, India, today [September 26].
Leverock, who became eligible for the T20 league after retiring from international cricket in March, was drafted by the Gujarat franchise at the auction last month.
He went for a price of 11 lakh [$13,000].
The 29-year-old, who played for Vancouver Knights in the Global T20 Canada in 2018, batted in No 6 and scored five runs off nine balls.
The Greats won the toss, batting first and scored 123 for the loss of seven wickets from 20 overs.
In reply, the Southern Stars scored 129 for two wickets off 14.3 overs, winning by eight wickets.
