BFA Double Header: Devonshire & YMSC Win
Devonshire Colts and Young Men Social Club both claimed victories in the BFA Premier Division Double-Header football action.
Devonshire Colts 4 Hamilton Parish 1
Devonshire Colts took a 3 – 0 lead to the half time break of their opening premier division match.
Teniko Eve gave them the lead in the 11th minute, Shannon Burchall doubled the lead in the 22nd minute, and then Chemarl Henry made it 3 – 0 in the 32nd minute.
Henry would give Devonshire Colts a 4 – 0 lead with his second goal of the match in the 49th minute, before Macquille Walker pulled a goal back for Hamilton Parish in the 59th minute.
Young Men Social Club 3 North Village Rams 1
Young Men Social Club opened up their league season with a 3 – 1 come from behind win over the North Village Rams at the Devonshire Recreation Club.
Tiago Correia gave the North Village Rams the lead in the 13th minute, but Josh Hardtman equalized for Young Men Social Club in the 19th minute, Hardtman would give Young Men Social Club a 2 – 1 when he discord his second goal of the game in the 33rd minute, two minutes later it was 3 – 1 ad Hardtman completed his hat-trick to send Young Men Social Club to halftime with the lead.
Neither team would find the back of the net in the second half as Young Men Social Club earned the three points.
