Health Council Offer PIPA Compliance Training
The Bermuda Health Council is offering two training sessions to help healthcare organizations comply with the upcoming Personal Information Protection Act [PIPA].
A spokesperson said, “As Bermuda prepares for the full implementation of the Personal Information Protection Act [PIPA] on January 1, 2025, the Bermuda Health Council is offering two training sessions to help healthcare organizations achieve compliance.
“The two separate webinars, hosted by industry leaders from KPMG and Appleby, are designed to provide essential knowledge and practical tools for healthcare businesses to safeguard patient data and meet PIPA’s requirements. These training sessions will cover critical aspects of data protection and privacy in the healthcare sector, offering attendees practical insights and actionable steps for building and maintaining a PIPA-compliant privacy program.
