Blake Montgomery Impresses In Stars Win
Bermudian ice hockey player Blake Montgomery delivered an impressive display for the Lincoln Stars in their 3-0 win at home to the Waterloo Blackhawks in the United States Hockey League [USHL] yesterday [October 12].
Montgomery, who was drafted by National Hockey League [NHL] team the Ottawa Senators in June, was named as one his team’s “Three Stars”.
The Lions also beat the Des Moines Buccaneers 4-3 at home on Friday.
Montgomery, a 6ft 4in power winger, will play college hockey at Wisconsin, an NCAA Division I programme in the Big Ten Conference next year.
