Ignite Bermuda Hosts 2024 Re-Ignite Conference
Ignite Bermuda hosted nearly 100 entrepreneurs and community leaders at the Re-Ignite 2024 Conference on October 18, offering valuable insights and strategies for navigating business challenges.
A spokesperson said, “Ignite Bermuda welcomed close to 100 entrepreneurs, community leaders, and sponsors at the Re-Ignite 2024 Conference at Fairmont Hamilton Princess on Friday, October 18. It was a dynamic event that delivered powerful insights, strategies, and inspiration to Bermuda’s most ambitious small business minds. Attendees engaged in expert-led panels, hands-on workshops, and networking opportunities, all designed to equip them for the present tech developments, as well as, the challenges of 2025 and beyond.

“Presenters, and Ignite alumnae, Priya Suagh and Zarinah Codrington showcased the impact of AI on the future of business, explaining how artificial intelligence is revolutionizing operations. They demonstrated how tasks like creating marketing plans, reports, and podcasts can now be completed in minutes, allowing even small teams to compete globally. While highlighting the efficiency of AI, both presenters urged caution, particularly in protecting client data.
“Mental health also took center stage as Dr. Jana Outerbridge, founder of Mayvera, discussed its critical role in business longevity. She stressed that fostering psychological safety in the workplace is not only beneficial for employees but also a key element in sustaining effective leadership and long-term success.”

Bermudian jewellery designer Alexandra Mosher shared her personal journey of scaling and pivoting her business. She reflected on how stepping back from daily operations to focus on strategic planning has enabled both personal fulfilment and business growth, offering valuable lessons for entrepreneurs looking to scale. She added, “I thought the Re-Ingite event was really thoughtfully crafted and put together with so much care and intention. It wasn’t just about the economic impact of each business represented in the room, but more so the well being of the humans behind it. We all have had a different journey in our entrepreneurial path, but the common thread among us is that we are all passionate and driven to make a difference in the world with our small businesses. “In a keynote address, leadership expert Amrita Bhalla explored the vital role of leadership in entrepreneurship, focusing on how strong leadership can help businesses scale, build resilience, and leverage support networks.”
