Khano Smith’s Rhode Island Held To Draw
Khano Smith’s Rhode Island drew 1-1 away to Charlston Battery in the United Soccer League [USL] Championship yesterday [October 19].
Noah Fuson opened the scoring for Rhode Island just before the interval, but MD Meyers equalised for Charlston in the 70th minute.
Smith, a former Bermuda and New England Revolution winger, was appointed as head coach and general manager of Rhode Island in March last year.
Rhode Island, fifth in Group East, are at home to Miami FC on Saturday [October 26].
