Ministry: Upcoming Road Closures And Events
The Ministry of Public Works has announced upcoming road closures and lane restrictions.
A Government spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform the public of several upcoming road closures and lane restrictions due to maintenance works and scheduled events across the Island.
“Motorists are advised to plan ahead and exercise caution in the affected areas.
Bermuda Triathlon Association/Cambridge Beaches Races [PDF]
- Date: Sunday, 27 October 2024
- Time: 7:30 am to 9:30 am
- Location: Somerset Roads to Dockyard
- Details: The Bermuda Triathlon Association and Cambridge Beaches will host races on Somerset Roads leading to Dockyard. Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to use alternative routes during the event hours.
Palmetto Road Lane Closure for Borehole Cleanout [PDF]
- Date: Monday, 28 October to Thursday, 31 October 2024
- Location: Palmetto Road, Pembroke—from E. Gate Lane to Bishop Spencer Road
- Details: One lane will be closed for borehole cleaning work. Motorists should exercise caution and follow traffic signage.

- Location: Pitt’s Bay Road, City of Hamilton—from Waterloo Lane to Woodbourne Avenue
