Sharrieff & Howard Finish 2nd In NJIT Invitational
Myeisha Sharrieff and her Howard University women’s swimming and diving teammates swam away from this year’s NJIT invitational with nine first-place finishes.
Howard University accumulated 1028.5 points for a runner-up finish.
Sharrieff led off the women’s 200 yard medley relay B team that finished 2nd with a time of 1:48.06 and she clocked 25.57 finishing 17th competing in the women’s 50 yard freestyle.
During the women’s 200 yard freestyle relay, Sharrieff swam the anchor leg for Howard’s C team that finished 5th with a time of 1:39.51.
The Bermudian swimmer touched the wall in a time of 57.51 finishing 2bd in the women’s 100 yard backstroke, Sharrieff, finished 12th with a time of 55.02 during the women’s 100 yard freestyle.
Sharrieff led off the Howard University women’s 400 yard medley relay B team that finished 4th with a time of 4:06.70.
During the women’s 400 yard freestyle relay, Sharrieff led off the Howard University C team that finished 6th with a time of 3:44.32.
