Rolling Single Lane Closures In Warwick Parish
Effective Monday [Oct 14], until further notice, “rolling single-lane closures will be implemented between Burnt House Hill and Longford Road to facilitate emergency underground cable repair works undertaken by BELCO.”
A Government spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Public Works wishes to notify the motoring public of upcoming road traffic changes on Middle Road in Warwick Parish.
“Effective Monday, 14 October 2024, until further notice, rolling single-lane closures will be implemented between Burnt House Hill and Longford Road to facilitate emergency underground cable repair works undertaken by BELCO.
“These lane closures will operate daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. BELCO representatives will oversee traffic management, including deploying barricades, stop-and-go signs, and cones to ensure safety and efficiency during the repair operations.
“Motorists are strongly advised to avoid the affected area and utilize alternative routes via South Road to minimise disruption and delays. Please anticipate increased travel times and exercise heightened caution for those who must travel through the closure zone.”
