Kamau Leverock’s Greats Defeated In T20
Kamau Leverock played for Gujarat Greats in the Legends League Cricket [LLC] against Konark Suryas Odisha at the Bakshi Stadium in Srinagar, India, yesterday [Oct 11].
Konark Suryas Odisha won the match by seven wickets.
Leverock batted at No 6 for the Greats, who batted first, and scored five runs off three balls before being bowled by Shahbaz Nadeem.
The Greats scored 141 for the loss of eight wickets off their 20 overs.
In reply, Konark Suryas Odisha scored 145 for three wickets off 15 overs.
Seam bowler Leverock conceded 20 runs off his two overs.
Leverock, who became eligible for the T20 league after retiring from international cricket in March, was drafted by the Gujarat franchise at the auction in August.
He went for a price of 11 lakh [$13,000].
Gujarat have not advanced to the play-offs after winning one and losing five matches.
