Transitional Community Services Thanks QBE
Transitional Community Services said they are “thrilled to announce a generous donation from QBE, which will provide critical support for our Community Bridge Builders program [CBB].”
A spokesperson said, “Through our CBB, we provide case management, counseling, employability skill building and advocacy for young men aged 18-34.
“As we recognize October as Mental Health Awareness Month, this contribution is especially significant in helping address the mental health needs of young men who are working to achieve stability and increased independence.
“These funds will go directly toward our tailored case management services, which focus on mental health, housing, employment, and life skills. Our mission is to provide young adults with highly individualized services in a safe and supportive manner that fosters an enhanced quality of life, as demonstrated by increased independent living skills. We focus on providing holistic support that empowers young men to overcome obstacles, build resilience, and create lasting positive change in their lives.”
“Our partnership with QBE is invaluable,” said Dr. Tiffanne Thomas, Non-Exec Vice Chair of the Board, “Their investment in our work ensures that we can continue to provide critical services to young men who face unique challenges in their path toward stability. October is a time to elevate conversations about mental health, and with QBE’s support, we can amplify our impact.”
A spokesperson added, “QBE Foundation Committee Chairperson in Bermuda Thomas Lowe said the partnership was an important one.”
“The Transitional Community Services’s program is designed to provide individualized support for young adult men. It’s a meaningful cause in line with our values and objectives to improve our social outreach.”
A spokesperson added, “The case management services supported by this donation will enhance our Community Bridge Builders program ensuring that participants receive the mental health care, guidance, and resources they need to thrive.
“We thank QBE for their commitment to our mission and for helping to change the lives of young men in our community.
