64 NorthWest Concludes Summer Intern Program
64 NorthWest Partners concluded its inaugural summer internship program, where four students – Chris Skinner, Kijali Jean-Marie, Magnus Marsh, Ella Newton — had the opportunity to delve into equity research through the role of a Junior Equity Analyst.
A spokesperson said, “This hands-on program combined formal academic learning with practical Wall Street experience, offering a comprehensive foundation in the investment field.”
John Johnson, CEO of 64 NorthWest Partners, remarked, “All our interns completed the Bloomberg Market Concepts certification, gaining insights into economic indicators, portfolio management, currencies, fixed income, equities, and equity options, as well as hands-on experience with Bloomberg terminals.”

“The program welcomed a diverse group of interns ranging from high school students to second-year university undergraduates, each exploring an industry of their choice—pharmaceuticals, insurance, semiconductors, artificial intelligence, and energy. Beyond sector-specific research, the interns also learned about macroeconomic trends and key industry metrics, working together to build and manage a portfolio of high-quality growth companies.”
Mr. Johnson added, “It was inspiring to witness their enthusiasm and dedication, and even more so to see it come to life through actionable research that achieved an 8% return during the program.”
“This opportunity provided me with the background, tools, and confidence to analyze a company and develop my own investment perspectives,” said Magnus Marsh
“I’ve always been interested in markets and the economy, and my experience at 64 NorthWest Partners has deepened that interest,” Kijali Jean-Marie said.
“Through this internship, we gained real skills that we can apply in any financial institution—whether at a bank, asset manager, or insurance company,” said Ella Newton
Andrew Marsh, CIO of 64 NorthWest Partners, shared his thoughts on the program: “Our goal was to give our interns — Chris, Magnus, Ella, and Kijali — a genuine Wall Street experience as equity analysts. We drew on our team’s expertise managing risk for top hedge funds and investment banks, including names like George Soros, Berkshire Hathaway and Goldman Sachs, to provide a truly unique learning environment not often available here in Bermuda.”
Each intern received personalized mentorship aimed at accelerating their understanding of live market data and the fast-paced nature of equity investing.
“Our interns were an exceptional group, displaying intelligence, creativity, and dedication,” Mr. Marsh noted. “They put real money to work. They successfully identified two exceptional stocks in AI and Cyber security, leading our portfolio in returns this year, which they believe will lead in their respective industries over the next decade. I congratulate each of them and wish them continued success in their academic and professional journeys.”
A spokesperson added, “64 NorthWest Partners is a private investment office dedicated to serving families and cultivating the next generation of financial leaders. This program is a reflection of our commitment to empowering young talent within our community by providing hands-on experience and fostering a passion for finance.
