The first period saw a flurry of goals, ending in a 2-2 tie. John Duda and Johny Talbot scored for Frontier, while Kevin Albrecht and Mathew Katzsch answered for Hamilton Princess.
After a scoreless second period, Albrecht netted his second goal of the game to give Hamilton Princess a 3-2 lead. However, Frontier responded with goals from Shannon Gosse, Tom Duggan, and Pete Brodsky to secure the win.
