BermudAir To Offer Three New Routes In 2025

November 14, 2024 | 7 Comments

BermudAir is set to launch service to three new destinations— Hartford, CT/Springfield, MA, Raleigh-Durham, and Charleston — starting in April 2025.

A spokesperson said, “Bermuda’s travel landscape just got even brighter as BermudAir is set to launch year-round non-stop service to three exciting new destinations— Hartford, CT/Springfield, MA [BDL], Raleigh-Durham [RDU], and Charleston [CHS]—starting in April 2025.

“With the only direct flight options to these key North American cities, Bermudians are now just a short flight away from vibrant new cultures, incredible destinations, and endless opportunities for business and leisure. The new services also open the door for more inbound visitors to Bermuda, making the island more accessible than ever.

“Expanding on the commitment to enhance Bermuda’s connectivity to key North American cities, the new cities will provide locals with more travel options and fresh opportunities for tourism, business, and cultural exchange.

BermudAir’s Route Expansion To 3 New Cities

“We are thrilled to offer Bermuda residents even more direct flight options to explore and connect with exciting North American cities,” says Adam Scott, CEO & Founder of BermudAir. “These new routes are a big win for the island, providing opportunities to experience new cultures, enjoy world-class amenities, and contribute to a thriving economy through both inbound and outbound travel.”

A spokesperson added, “Whether one is looking to explore the great North Carolina outdoors from Raleigh-Durham, the historic Southern charm of Charleston, or access the tristate area of Connecticut, Massachusetts and Vermont from the Hartford/Springfield gateway, BermudAir’s new routes offer a variety of destinations in non-stop comfort.

“All flights are operated on Embraer twin-engine jets with both Business and Economy Class options. This route expansion coincides with the growth of BermudAir’s existing aircraft fleet that includes the planned addition of two new aircraft in the first half of 2025. One of the new aircraft will be fully dedicated to scheduled service; the other will be used to provide operational flexibility, charter and medevac service.

“In addition, travellers can enjoy BermudAir’s signature in-flight service, with complimentary Bermuda-sourced beverages and snacks available to all guests.”

“These new routes give Bermuda residents more ways to visit family, explore new business opportunities, and embrace exciting adventures in three diverse U.S. cities,” says Scott. “With our expanded fleet, we are ready to meet the growing travel demand, ensuring every journey is a smooth and reliable experience.”

A spokesperson added, “With flight fares starting at $239, the new cities are available in all sales channels from November 14, 2024, and all flights are subject to regulatory approval. Unless you live there, very uninspiring. How about somewhere in the (true) Caribbean?

    • Jus' Wonderin' says:

Agreed, while this is mostly for business I would love a quick hop to Jamaica or some of the other islands. Agree with you!!

    • Mixitup says:

Agreed, Caribbean, maybe 2x’s weekly MBJ/KIN
Possible 2x’s Weekly San Juan for easy connections to POS/SKB/ANU and the wider Caribbean.
Also London Via Azores may work with the Aircraft they currently have.

Bermuda to San Juan would be nice. But I don’t know how many times in the same year I would make that trip.

Wow! It’s about time Hartford was included again. As a very frequent traveler to Bda (60+). Back in the day Hartford had a daily flight to Bda with a Boston stop over. Previous to that I believe there was a direct… Horray! I’ll be hopping on this for sure!

    • Bernie says:

Lazy! Hartford to Westchester is 80 miles, hardly far!

Caribbean please. That’s thousands of miles.

Or take the money grabbing BA lot on and fly to London, we’d all love to ditch BA.

We were thinking of a wee trip to Charleston (the Spoleto Festival), May/June, next year and up popped this! Brilliant
