Peter Silvester Makes Two Penalty Saves
Goalkeeper Peter Silvester saved two penalties in Connecticut College men’s football team’s 4-2 shoot-out win over Amherst College in the New England Small College Athletic Conference quarter-finals yesterday [November 2].
The Bermudian made a string of fine saves during the game, which finished 1-1 after regulation time and continued to thwart Amherst in extra-time to ensure the game went to penalties.
Connecticut have advanced to the semi-finals for the fourth straight year.
