Sharrieff Competes In H2ounds Invitational
Myeisha Sharrieff represented Howard University at the H2ounds invitational, hosted by Loyola University Maryland in Baltimore. The Howard University women’s swimming & diving team delivered a strong performance, securing third place overall with an impressive 1,745.5 points.
Sharrieff demonstrated her versatility across multiple events. In the women’s 50 yard freestyle, she finished 23rd in the preliminaries [25.09] before ultimately placing 5th in the C final with a time of 25.02.
In the women’s 100 yard backstroke, she improved on her preliminary time of 58.09 to clock 57.25 in the A final, earning her a 5th place finish.
Contributing to the team’s relay efforts, Sharrieff led off the Howard University-PV B team in the women’s 200 yard freestyle relay, where they placed 8th with a time of 1:39.74. She also served as the lead-off swimmer for the Howard University women’s 400 yard medley relay B team, finishing 7th in 3:57.54.
Sharrieff concluded her individual events with a 7th place finish in the women’s 200 yard backstroke B-final, achieving a time of 2:13.74.
