Video: Bryce Montgomery Scores For Bison
Bermudian Bryce Montgomery has been reassigned by National Hockey League [NHL] team the Carolina Hurricanes from the Chicago Wolves to the Bloomington Bison.
He played his first game for the Bison at home to the Toledo Walleye on October 20, a 4-2 defeat, scoring the first regular season goal in the ECHL side’s history.

Montgomery, 21, scored four goals and had eight assists in 42 games for the South Carolina Stingrays in the ECHL last season.
The 6ft 5in 231-pound defenceman was drafted by the Hurricanes in the sixth round [170th overall] NHL Entry Draft in 2021.
His younger brother, Blake Montgomery, was drafted by NHL team the Ottawa Senators in June.
He currently plays for the Lincoln Stars – a junior team in the United States Hockey League [USHL].
The Bison are at home to Kalamazoo Wings next Saturday [November 8].
