Sienna Mosquera Places Third in Florida
Sienna Mosquera achieved a podium finish at the Reunion Junior Open on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour in Florida at the weekend.
Mosquera, who attends the Mike Bender Golf Academy in the “Sunshine State” came third at the Watson Course at Reunion Resort, after finishing the 36-hole tournament at eight over.
The 18-year-old shot an opening round 77 before carding 75 in the final round – her lowest two-day tournament score.
The podium finish was Mosquera’s second in recent months after finishing runner-up in the girls’ 14-18 division on her debut at the Canada Junior Championship in Montreal.
Bermudian Dylan Muso also competed in the Reunion Junior Open, placing tied for eleventh in the boys’ 16-18 division.
