Shield And Friendship Finals On New Year Day
The 2024/25 Shield and Friendship finals will feature SCC vs. Boulevard and WSSC vs. PHC on New Year’s Day.
A spokesperson said, “The 2024/25 Shield and Friendship semi-final rounds, presented by Lindo’s, brought excitement and community spirit over the festive period to the Wellington Oval on Thursday, December 26th and PHC Field on Friday, December 27th.
Shield Semi Final Results

- Robin Hood vs SCC: 0 – 1
Friendship Semi-Final Results
- PHC vs NVCC: 2 – 1
- HPWC vs WSSC: 2 – 3
“The Shield and Friendship Finals, a hallmark event in Bermuda’s football calendar, takes place annually on New Year’s Day.
“Boulevard Blazers will face off against Somerset Trojans in the Shield Trophy Final, with a kickoff time of 12:00 pm. The defending Friendship Cup champions, Pembroke Hamilton Club [PHC] will face off against Western Stars Sports Club [WSSC/Dandy Town] with their match kicking off at 2:00 pm.
“Both matches will take place at the Somerset Cricket Club on Wednesday, January 1, 2025. A summary of both match details is below.
