Bermuda Aborist Donates Services To BNT
The spirit of Christmas visited the Bermuda National Trust’s Verdmont Museum in Smith’s parish this week when David McCann’s team from Bermuda Arborist donated a day of their time to improve the gardens.
“We are so grateful to Mr McCann and his team for their generous gift of time and expertise,” said Karen Border, Executive Director of BNT. “They opened up the view of the south shore from our lookout point, removed some invasive trees that were growing far too close to the historic privy and attended to other tree work needed in the grounds. It’s made a big difference at no cost to BNT – what a wonderful Christmas gift!”
The team consisted of David McCann, Sam Wallace, Alec Rowney, Rowdy Crockwell-Laurent and Burnel Wilson.
David McCann said: “We are very happy to help The Bermuda National Trust with this project. What better way to give back than assisting with such a great cause. The BNT ensures these historic locations, museums and green spaces will always be available for Bermudians, and visitors alike to enjoy. Merry Christmas, and seasons greetings to all!”
