Bowling: Sunset, Spicenix, Nifty & Under Win
Week 13 of the continental bowling league delivered upsets and close matches at the Warwick Bowl, resulting in a shakeup in the standings.
Sunset, currently in eighth place, defeated the ninth-place Invaders 18-9. Spicenix, in fourth place, beat seventh-place New Hope with an identical score of 18-9.
The second-place Nifty Rollers dominated the fifth-place Astronauts 24-3.
In the closest match of the week, the first-place Under Dawgs held off a challenge from the third-place Cubs, winning 15-12.
With the Odd Balls on a bye week, the Under Dawgs remain in first place, followed by the Nifty Rollers, Cubs and Spicenix.
