Bermuda Defeat Mexico By Six Wickets
The Bermuda national cricket team won their third straight match at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Americas Sub Regional Qualifier after defeating Mexico by six wickets in Buenos Aires, Argentina, today [December 10].
Mexico, who elected to bat, scored 96 for the loss of nine wickets from their allotted overs, with Jermal Proctor, Kevon Fubler and Dion Stovell each taking two wickets.
In reply, Bermuda chased down their opponent’s total, scoring 97 for four off 12.3 overs, with Onias Bascome leading the charge on 30.
Alex Dore scored 24, Dominic Sabir hit 20 not out, and Stovell struck 19 not out.
Bermuda, who have beaten Suriname and Panama, take on Brazil tomorrow.
